Thanks Rob, Vicky, Nigel and 10 others, for your company!!

We completed a slightly shortened Skyline in various states of weather from sunshine to sleet, and an ice cold wind to cooking climbs. A little of everything, except snow.

The trail was holding up well, although there were some substantial puddles lying around the place.

We took a little shortcut this time, turning right at the the top of the first climb (passing the turnoff to the downhill) and rejoining the trail at what I think is the first single track section. It cuts out a long, boring section of fireroad.

I knew just where I was.....I have been there before in the snow, at dusk.
